Morgan works primarily with adolescents, young adults, and adults as they navigate such challenges as anxiety, depression, and substance use. Her therapeutic approach is guided primarily by narrative therapy. This modality supports individuals in highlighting their personal strengths in order to facilitate reframing their life stories and/or negative core beliefs. This approach is supported by clinical techniques rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care. Morgan works to create a space of collaboration and compassion where clients feel supported to explore their identities. She is dedicated to tailoring treatment to align with each client’s unique needs and goals.

Education –

Morgan earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Utah State University. During her time at Utah State, she was a Supplemental Instruction Leader. In this role, she was able to connect with students as well as professors on Utah State’s campus as she helped instruct courses like Introduction to Psychology as well as United States Institutions. For her work in supporting peers, Morgan was presented Utah State’s Instructor Apprentice Award. Morgan completed her Master’s of the Arts degree in Forensic Psychology at the University of Denver. While a student at the University of Denver, Morgan specialized in substance use treatment as well as trauma-informed care. Additionally, she served as a Graduate Student Assistant where she was able to function as an additional support and advocate for her peers. She is a pre-licensed therapist with advanced training in serious and persistent mental illness and crisis intervention. In her therapeutic practice, Morgan’s approach is relational, inclusive, and trauma-informed.

Experience –

Morgan’s clinical experience spans inpatient as well as outpatient services where she worked with adolescents and adults facing a range of mental health and substance use challenges. She has provided individual therapy, facilitated group therapy, and supported clients and their families during acute crisis. Her work in crisis stabilization settings increased her skills in risk assessment, trauma-informed care, and de-escalation particularly with youth navigating significant emotional distress. While facilitating Partial Hospitalization Programming (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP), Morgan offered structured group psychoeducation and individualized support focused on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and coping strategies. Across settings, Morgan has been a collaborative member of multidisciplinary teams with focus on delivering well-rounded, client-centered care. Her experiences as a therapist have deepened her conviction in the strength of the individuals she supports and the powerful impact of empathetic, communicative therapeutic connection.
