Grace works with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating a wide range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. Her approach to therapy is primarily guided by narrative therapy, which supports clients in reframing their life stories, separating problems from their identities, and highlighting their strengths. This approach is enriched by techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. Grace provides a compassionate and collaborative space where clients can explore their identities and experiences with curiosity and care. She believes that healing occurs within the therapeutic relationship and is dedicated to tailoring treatment to align with each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.

Education –

Grace earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Evolutionary Anthropology from Duke University, with minors in Psychology and Biology. During her time at Duke, she was a four-year Division I varsity athlete on the rowing team, an experience that fostered her commitment to mental wellness, teamwork, and resilience. As a campus leader for Athlete Ally, she advocated for queer and trans inclusion in sports, and for Morgan’s Message, she worked to destigmatize mental health within the student-athlete community. These early experiences laid the foundation for her enduring dedication to mental health awareness and advocacy for marginalized populations.

Grace completed her Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology at the University of Denver in 2024, specializing in substance use treatment and trauma-informed care. She is a pre-licensed therapist with advanced training in crisis intervention and co-occurring disorders. Her therapeutic approach is relational, inclusive, and dynamic, reflecting her ongoing passion for supporting those navigating systems of marginalization and oppression. Drawing from her background in advocacy within both athletic and LGBTQ+ communities, alongside her forensic psychology training, Grace remains committed to justice-oriented, trauma-informed care in her practice.

Experience –

Grace’s clinical experience spans inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings, where she has worked with adolescents and adults facing a range of mental health and substance use challenges. She has provided individual therapy, facilitated group sessions, and supported clients and families in moments of acute crisis.

Her work in crisis stabilization settings deepened her skill in de-escalation, risk assessment, and trauma-informed care, particularly with youth navigating intense emotional distress. In outpatient and intensive treatment programs, she offered both structured group therapy and individualized support focused on building insight, coping strategies, and emotional regulation.Across settings, Grace has collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, client-centered care. These experiences have strengthened her belief in the resilience of those she serves and the transformative potential of compassionate, affirming therapeutic relationships.
